It’s been one of those weeks at our home where one is found to really be longing for warm, sunny days. Don’t get me wrong, I love many aspects of winter but we’ve been in the grips of a monster this past week. Cold and pneumonia; need I say more. Thus it seemed that today’s feature photo of the Cave Hills grasslands of northwestern South Dakota filled the bill. Partly cloudy skies, warm sun, a sea of waving prairie grasses and distant dry bluffs leaves me ready to pack up and head out. On our last trip to the area we were mesmerized by the golden hues and shadows of clouds trying to outrace the wind. One thing for sure, I’m in need of some sunny days.
