Maybe it’s because I grew up as a farm boy in the prairie lakes country of South Dakota that I’ve long been a fan of the artist, Terry Redlin. His detailed rural paintings are characterized by fall colors, deep shadows, rolling hills and detail. Autumn walks, especially during the golden hour, always bring back memories of his vision and talent expressed on canvas. This evening’s featured capture, “Good-bye to Summer” was captured during one such walk. I hope Terry would like it.
