Brush Strokes of Time

As each day and event goes by it becomes more and more evident that photography has become an instructor of life for me. As a photographer of nature (whether it be a flower, bird, animal or expansive landscape) I’ve always been aware that these subjects are there for me to photograph because of God our creator. But experience has taught me that color would be nothing if it were not for Light. Now, as displayed in today’s featured capture, Time is what reveals the brush strokes of God. The rocks, trees and plant life shown here were all provided by the Creator and the Light differentiated the deep as well as the pastel colors to enable us to visualize the shape and size of things. But it was through the 30 seconds of exposure that the visible brush strokes of Time were revealed on the gently flowing stream. I encourage you to study and apply Creation, Light and Time to your every day life as well as your photography.
