There is no picture. There are no words. No, there is nothing on earth that can describe the magnitude of character nor emotions of the fallen. Though crosses by the thousands mark their quiet graves, do you remember? While memorial marching parades are held in towns and cities across the country and the tributes at the large and renowned cemeteries are many and large, no form of service or means of sacrifice should go unnoticed. Standing at this lonely, rural and secluded cemetery I stare at the crosses. In the silence a voice behind the sunlit cross in front of me seems to whisper, “Do you remember?” On this solemn day, let none be forgotten.
