This past Sunday during the early evening hours, we had another one of those summer thunderstorms go through. Most of us that have been around a few years had no doubt that something was brewing. Temps in the mid-80’s and another day saturated with humidity provided all the energy that was needed. Needless to say, the storm brought needed rains to some and yet devastating high winds to others. Our immediate area was fortunate. While these storms exhibit the fury and strength of nature, the feature that always seems to amaze me the most in these later afternoon displays is the post-storm beauty. Today’s featured photo of the sun, bold color and eruption of clouds is just one more example of the power and beauty of nature.
