I always find the course and flow of nature to be amazing. If you want to get a feel for how remarkable it can be, check out one of your local wildlife management areas (WMA). A week earlier at this WMA, only a few buds were starting to pop out in the neighboring forest and the wetland area itself was a sea of dull brown. Then along came a series of sunny and warm days with temperatures in the upper 70’s which were then followed by a couple of days that brought some very much needed rainfall. Suddenly, within hours of the first raindrops, life materialized where there previously appeared to be none. It’s a beautiful season with the emergence of life and one just has to try and enjoy those cool rainy days along with the warm and sunny ones. As you can see here, periods of sprinkles and downpours filtered in and out as I was shooting this day. However, the colors were astounding. The important point of this, it was just great being out and able to observe this season of change.
