For a couple of reasons, this seemed like the appropriate post for this late fall/early winter day. Chances are we will be receiving some significant snow and wind tomorrow and many will be wishing for a nice spring or summer day. To those folks, here you go. More significantly, I had the very enjoyable opportunity today of speaking to two classes of high school photography students about wildlife photography. Sure there were a few there that could have cared less about the subject but I’d be the first to admit that it’s not at the top of everyone’s want-to-know list. But for some, I had the pleasure of seeing eyes light up and heads stretch closer to the screen. It’s always good to hear a few “Wows!” but it’s even more satisfying to have the interest and questions from our next generation of photographers. These young adults made my day and then some. All I can say to them in return is, “Reach for the clouds!”
